David joined IS Partners during February 2010 where he is General Manager for the Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management and Corporate Performance Management units.

 

Prior to this role, David was an executive at Microsoft SA where he fulfilled a number of roles over a period of 9 years.  In his last position at Microsoft, David managed the operating group that partners with the major Telco’s, Media and Entertainment providers in the country. 

 

David has also held a number of roles in Microsoft including Director: Developer and Platform Strategy, Solutions and Technology Manager (CTO) for the Enterprise Group in Microsoft South Africa. 

 

David joined Microsoft in 2001 as a Business Productivity Advisor where he assisted major companies in leveraging their investment in Microsoft’s applications and productivity tools such as Enterprise Application Portals, Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management, Enterprise Project Management and Information Worker tools.  He is passionate about uncovering the business benefits that technology and software hold for companies.

 

Prior to joining Microsoft, David was a Director in a Process Control and Instrumentation business focusing on delivering complete control solutions to Food and Beverage, Manufacturing and Mining industries.

 

David has also been involved with Solution Design and IT Consulting at Dimension Data.

Erwin is a passionate BI expert with IS Partners and has over 13 years’ experience in all aspects of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.

 

Originally based in The Netherlands, Erwin has travelled the world extensively. He always found the African continent very appealing and lives permanently in South Africa since 2004.  He plays a key role in the strategic implementation of business solutions. 

 

His background in organisational strategy and business informatics comes alive in the BI environment. Being multi-talented in this field, Erwin develops methodologies, publishes articles and has experience across a wide number of BI and Data Warehousing platforms/tools. 

 

Erwin has been focusing on the Microsoft platform in recent years.  He has a people-focused management style that brings out the best in his team members, to achieve tangible results and value-add for his clients. 

 

Erwin is a proud supporter of his soccer team and was wearing orange on a regular basis during World Cup month!  As free time fillers he tries to run and read a lot, owns 9 guitars and loves spending time with his family.

Mark is a BI Solution Specialist at IS Partners. He has focused solely on the Microsoft technology stack for over ten years and has an exceptional passion for Business Intelligence. 

 

A good technical background combined with a love for business analysis has seen him implement end-to-end solutions for customers in the customer relationship management, media and entertainment, education and insurance industries.

He is currently studying part-time and is preparing for his final exams in order to obtain a BSc Information Technology Management degree. Other interests include playing and watching cricket and mulling over pages and pages of sports statistics (something pretty normal for BI people).

Ryan Jamieson the CTO of IS Partners. His background is diverse, initially working in the Mining industry as a Mining Engineer, moving on to general solution development on the Microsoft platform.

 

Ryan is currently responsible for the technical strategy of IS Partners which encompasses Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management and Financial Solutions.

 

Over the years he has been involved in architecture, development and implementation of numerous Microsoft based systems.

 

His passion for Business Intelligence started in 2000 which resulted in the formation of IS Partners Business Intelligence. He has been highly involved in a number of successful strategic Business Intelligence implementations based on the Microsoft Platform.

 

Ryan has a BSc Engineering degree from Wits and an MBA and enjoys reading and practicing martial arts in his spare time.
